It’s been a while since I have uploaded a recipe!! ahhh lets make “Tin-Ko”. well at least that’s what I thought this was till I googled what tinko was…and omg. So the Nigerian Americans over here keep calling this Tin-ko when its not……since it has a name no one knows of..I shall name it “Steak bombs”.
I remember when I was in high school, my aunt used to make this every Sunday and sell them after church. They are a delicious spicy snack to be eaten alone, or with some rice. I call em steak bombs because, well they are tiny and VERY spicy, kinda like a delicious explosion in your mouth huh?
WHAT YOU WOULD NEED1). cooked and lightly seasoned steak (about 2 cups – mounted), cut into bitesize cubes
2). Dry cayenne pepper (use at your own discretion), various seasonings (att least 1 tsp of each)
PS: use the seasoning & salt to your own discretion (keeping in mind the steak was already seasoned when you boiled it- so don’t forget to taste it!)
3). 2 tbs grounded crawfish
4). 1 Bell pepper, 1 tsp minced garlic,1tsp palm oil, and 1 tbs of grated ginger
5). 1 cup Diced onions
1). cut the pepper up into smaller pieces and blend (3/4) to fairly smooth
2). Dice the remaining 1/4 into the tiniest pieces you can fathom.
3). In a pan, add a tablespoon of Olive oil, and add the diced pepper, garlic, ginger (grated), onions, palm oil and all your seasonings and fry till slightly brown
4). Add the blended pepper to the mix and stir-fry for a few minutes making sure it doesn’t burn
5). If not already done, dice the meat onto bitesized cubes
6). Add to the mix and cook on low heat till the meat has absorbed the flavor
7). Serve with rice, or eat as a bitesized snack. Yummy! Enjoy!
