My Winter Facial Routine (Dry/Combo Skin) [Nightime]

One thing that has made me work hard at my night routine are series of whiteheads from clogged pores. i think dreading the pop and pain on my forehead has made me kick the lazy habit of sleeping with my makeup on.
however i still use little hacks like grabbing wipes and jumping into bed on the laziest of days…but on other days such as Saturday mornings, Holidays and nighttime, i mostly do this routine…
Step 1: Deep & Gentle Cleansing
First off, i take off my makeup and wash it off.  I use wipes only on days of emergency, days when i am too busy or to tired to go through the whole process.  But generally i use cleansing oil, or cleansing cream depending on how my skin feels; dry is for the  cream while normal is for oil i use [Shills Natural Science Cherry Blossom Make-up Removing Oil and Noxzema Classic Clean Original Deep Cleansing Cream], i love that they rinse with water. whenever i wear eye makeup (which is not too often) i usually use [Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion - Hydrating] to take it off gently. i apply, wait a bit, then wipe off with a baby wipe. i do this before taking off the rest of my makeup.
I am meticulous with makeup removal when i can. I wash off my makeup with another makeup remover [Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser] and scrub my t-zone area with [Revlon Spa Pore & Facial Brush]. It gets in my pores and gets all the dirt out. I chose this over the clarisonic or any other popular brush for a reason. Its bristles are softer so it doesn't irritate my skin much (it still irritates my cheek area) it is also cheaper. plus i use it for only my t-zone area which would be awaste if i bought an expensive one. On days that i do not wear any makeup, I just cleanse my face with [Garnier SAKURA WHITE Pinkish Radiance Gentle Cleansing Foam].
I tone my face with the usual [Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Toner] and prepare my face for my evening mask. Yes, i tone beforehand because i want all the cleansing done before adding nutrients to my skin. I don't want to tone after Masks because i don't want to wipe off it’s benefits.

Step 2: Nutrient & Relaxation Time
Mask time!I have various options with Various schedules, Eye masks [Kose Clear Turn Q10 Eye Mask], moisture masks [Etude House I Need You, Honey! Wash-off Pack], acne masks [CLEAN & CLEAR CONTINUOUS CONTROL Acne Cleanser], pore masks [CLEAN & CLEAR BLACKHEAD ERASER Cleansing Mask], sheet masks[My Beauty Diary, Etude House], & nose masks[The FaceShop Black Head Ex Nose Clay Mask]. I alternate on different days according to need. And try to use each one of them as often as possible. And believe me, I have a schedule for them in my bathroom.
A new staple that actually serves as both a moisture and acne mask is my [DIY Tumeric Oatmeal Honey Mask]. This mask works wonders on my dry skin as well as my whiteheads. Honey is a really powerful ingredient for the face!

Step 3: Moisturization

After the mask is done, i apply face serum with [Holika Holika Bulgarian Rose Serum].
Next, i apply eyecream [Missha Misa Yehyun Bon Eye Cream], then lotion [Etude House Moistfull Lotion] and facecream [Missha Misa Yehyun Bon Nutritious Cream].

Step 4: Finalize, Seal, & Treat

This last step involves my sleeping mask using [Spring Valley Heart Health 400 I.U. Vitamin E Supplement], and spot treatment [CLEAN & CLEAR PERSA-GEL 10 Acne Medication Maximum Strength] if needed. The sleeping mask works wonders on my skin. I wakeup with it soft, and smoother and more moisturized.
My night routine is pretty simple, its just waiting on the masks that puts me off.
I try to stick to it as much as possible though.
on days that i feel extremely lazy these wipes [Equate Beauty Night-Time Soothing Makeup Remover Towelettes and Equate Beauty Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Cleansing Towelettes] come in really handy. i use the grapefruit one only on days that i have no makeup on.
