FEBRUARY FAVORITES | 2020

February is finally over!! Although I did not post quite as regularly as I wanted to: I needed to keep on with the favorites post. My faves tend to repeat again, and again but I can't help it when I like something.

This month's faves are short and sweet, with just two from past faves!

HEIRESS BY PARIS HILTON FOR WOMEN EDP
Those who know me know I love smelling good! I love trying out new perfume and buying them, although I recently noticed I have a type (anything with a pink bottle) and they all smell somewhat light, playful and floral fruity. I don't do musky scents and I'm not a big fan of sharp scents either. It does have a very "young" scent to it, playful and fruity. Its top notes are passionfruit, peach, orange, and champagne. When I first sprayed it I actually did not like the scent (its a bit sharp to the nose) but after it absorbs the middle and bottom notes smell wonderful and I keep going back to it. The middle notes are floral so its possible that's why I like it after it is absorbed on my skin. I also hate citrus fruits (except tangerines) so I do not fancy smelling like an orange. It is an EDP and its true to its name, it lasts for a long time, all day on your body and clothes. Plus the packaging is cute!

THE ORDINARY AHA 30% + BHA 2% PEELING SOLUTION
This was my favorite from last month and it's still my favorite, and might be for next month if I don't do a detailed review soon because man! this is a miracle worker!! here's what I said about it last month.

BATH AND BODY WORKS SPARKLING LIMONCELLO NOURISHING HAND CREAM
I don't like citrus fruits generally, so I was not expecting to like this line of products by bath and body works: but omg I am obsessed with the entire line, and more recently the hand cream. The scent is just so relaxing as it moisturizes your skin. Mind you this is from someone who hates lemon everything, lemon cookies, lemonade, lemon cake anything sour, I'm out. Unless I'm cooking with the lemon and its not that tart. I do want to try Limoncello though, just out of curiosity.

FENTY PRO FILT'R MINI INSTANT RETOUCH SETTING POWDER
This has been my everyday powder since I purchased it in December! I got the mini size because I wasn't sure it would be my color and I didn't have time to go back to Sephora to exchange it. Surprisingly it matched me well, even my undertone! And it doesn't look gray or melt when I sweat, it has a semi-matte effect and light coverage. I finally found a "brown powder" (as it is said here in Ghana/Nigeria) that matches my skin.

C.O. BIGELOW ROSE SALVE
This was one of my favorites from last year and it resurfaced again this time not because it is cute or smells amazing but because it was the only lip balm I had that worked for my cracked peeling lips this harmattan season. I had the Mentha Lip Balm Stick in Peppermint and was using that daily before switching to the Rose Salve but I noticed it was only tingling but not healing or protecting my cracked lips. I just checked out their website and realized they have a Sakura Rose version. OMG.

Well, that's it for my faves! Hope you have a wonderful March!
Thanks for reading!!
