JANUARY FAVORITES | 2020

Happy new month! January was long!! It has been a while since I did a faves post, October actually. And since I'm back with another attempt at my new year resolution of posting weekly, here are my January faves!

My faves tend to be skincare mostly, with a little bit of makeup here and there. Last month I didn't have any hair faves, and I barely wore makeup -I only wore a full face of makeup ONCE. So my faves are in skincare!

HADALABO SKIN  LAB GOKUJIN UV WHITE GEL SPF50+ PA++++
I've raved over and over about this sunscreen, especially in my skincare routine: I am yet to do a review. This is my staple winter sunscreen; It leaves my skin moisturized and it is light enough on the skin without feeling heavy, it also has no white cast. It is very gentle on the skin, perfect for winter with combination skin.

FARMSTAY ALL IN ONE DR-V8 VITAMIN AMPOULE
I love this ampoule! it is so hydrating! I found out about ampoules on Skincare Reddit and started with SCINIC but then I transitioned to Farmstay which is slightly cheaper: and since I tried the various types they had, this is my favorite of all of them. It is hydrating and mildly moisturizing, works as a great step in between my routine. Plus it is pretty in my pump bottle!

THE ORDINARY AHA 30% + BHA 2% PEELING SOLUTION
THIS is my BEST MASK of the year 2020. Even if the year just started! I was not expecting such immediate results with this mask. But wow, it went above and beyond my expectations. So much that I look forward to using it every week! I will give a full, detailed review soon.

SANA NAMERAKA ISOFLAVONE Q10 CREAM
I used to be a frequent SANA user back when I was a teenager with dry skin, their creams are so thick- it is quite balmy. I had forgotten how thick the creams were and purchased it. With my combination/oily skin, it was too thick to use even during winter so I used it as an eye cream. My undereye area has never been so moisturized and plump, I love how it keeps it moisturized! I will definitely repurchase as my eye cream again.

NEUTROGENA RAPID CLEAR ACNE ELIMINATING SPOT GEL AND CLEAN AND CLEAR PERSA-GEL 10 ACNE MEDICATION
Combining two different acne products and brands can be a bit iffy, but hear me out: The Neutrogena Rapid Clear has been one of the best salicylic acid spot treatments I've used. It is clear and can even be used under makeup. I love how fast it works too.

The Persa Gel by Clean and Clear is the BEST benzoic acid spot treatment hands down, even better than Neutrogena's benzoic acid. The only thing is it cannot be used during the day, but it gets stubborn acne. I like combining them for a fast effect: I use the salicylic first then when it dries, top with benzoic but only at night.

SEPHORA PEPPERMINT LIP SCRUB
I honestly only bought this scrub because of its color. It smells amazing and it gently scrubs the lips and it leaves the lips moisturized as the scrubs melt into the skin.

FENTY GLOSS BOMB UNIVERSAL LIP LUMINIZER IN FUSSY
I got this lip gloss as a birthday gift from my best friend and it has been one of my go-to MLBB/everyday lip products. I love how natural it looks on the lips and it is one of the only lip glosses I have that lasts for a very long time and is so hydrating it can easily double as a balm as well!

FATUXZ DIGITAL SKIN DETECTOR PEN
I bought this for blogging, and I wasn't expecting to fall in love with it! I love how it has a part to tell how hydrated your skin is and the percentage of oil in the skin as well. It's easy to use and I think its fairly accurate. I love randomly check my skin's hydration!

QUIP COPPER METAL ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
My husband made me get this toothbrush after hearing about it on a podcast, but he got me by getting it in my fave color (Copper/Rosegold) and I have had a great experience with it. I love the color, but I also love the toothbrush itself.

That's it for my faves this month!
Thanks for reading!
